We may be far apart but we can still create a beautiful vegan foodie community. This strengthens our resolve to cook more vegan food from scratch every day. We can inspire and support each other as we travel our learning journey.
This course is not one that you do in isolation. Students share their food pictures in our study group and chat about anything and everything to do with vegan food.
We stay in regular contact so that everyone can chat about how they are getting on with the course. This also helps my students to keep motivated so that they finish the course and get their diploma!

The recipes are simple but effective, perfect for the home cook. I don’t only give you a collection of recipes, we give you the knowledge of why and how these recipes work. Understanding food at this fundamental level gives you the foundation needed to become a creative cook.
The course is structured in a way that guides you through vegan cuisine by making my tasty recipes. All of the work you do to qualify for the diploma is hands-on with some reflection on how your recipes went. There is very little written work for you to do but a lot of cooking and a lot of eating!
The key recipes are taught to you by pre-recorded video and written recipe. The course can be completed at your own speed. You can pick it up and put it down as and when suits you and your other time commitments.
The course is separated into 7 sections. In each section you will find a guide to ingredients, techniques and equipment used within that specific section. For each key recipe I give you information on troubleshooting, tips for recipe success and highlight every technique you have used.
We have put the sections in a specific order, starting with the easier, less time-consuming sections, through to the more challenging sections. However, you can complete the sections in whichever order you want to. This enables you to utilise the food you make in the course to feed you, your family and your friends.

Tasty Tofu - Tofu can be FANTASTIC! With just a few simple tricks and a handful of great recipes you will be able to make terrific tofu dishes
Vegan Cheese - My simple cheese recipes are a perfect start to delving into the world of vegan cheese
Luscious Cakes - Learn how to bake like a demon - from simple light sponges to devilish sweet treats
You will need to complete all 5 key recipes from each section, documenting them and reflecting on them, to qualify for your diploma. Your work should be emailed through to us as proof of completing the work. We are on hand to give you guidance throughout the course, should you need it. You will also be given access to our private Facebook study group, where you can share your recipe pictures and also find support.
In each section we also give you 10 exclusive written recipes. You do not have to complete these recipes to qualify for the diploma. These are for you to use, if you wish to. Together with the key recipes this amounts to a massive 105 recipes you can learn through this course. All recipes can be printed out by you at home.
Every student has a chance to get personal guidance and one-to-one tuition. We see you as an individual and the class as a team.
Dates and time: This course is available for you to start whenever is convenient for you.
The course can be completed in as little as 3 months or as long as 12 months. We recommend that students aim to complete the course in 6 months.
Students will be given access to the course which is in the form of video and written content to work through at their own pace. We have students living in different time zones therefore we are unable to do ‘live’ classes.
If you complete the course within 3 months the weekly time commitment will be 1 whole day per week (9 hours). You will also have to factor in time for buying ingredients (this will vary depending on the accessibility of ingredients). You can, as mentioned, take longer to complete the course, a maximum of 12 months. If you take the full 12 months to complete the course the weekly time commitment will be an average of 2 hours per week plus shopping time.
All course purchases give you access to the course for one year. A subsequent year extension is available with a fee of 30% of the course price.

The courses are assessed and you will gain a certificate. In order to obtain your certificate of completion photos of all key recipes must be sent to the school.
However, if you want to do the course just for fun you do not have to submit work / get the certificate.
Cost:
The total cost for this course is usually £225. We currently have a discount on this course so it is now £95.
EQUIPMENT & INGREDIENTS - You will need to purchase equipment and ingredients so please take this into consideration when you are deciding if the course is affordable for you. I have limited the equipment you buy to those items that will be useful to you in your home kitchen. However, if you are able to do so you can borrow equipment from family and friends.
