How much do the ingredients / equipment cost for the course?

This depends on a few factors; where you source the ingredients from, if you make any substitutions and how many times you make the recipe. Most of the recipes are 4 portions, except for the cake recipes. Some ingredients are used in multiple recipes so you can buy them in bulk.

You can see a list of the equipment you will need here however some students opt to borrow some cooking equipment to minimise cost.

What are the costs in this course?

The FULL costs for this course are -

  • Course fee
  • Equipment
  • Ingredients
  • Postage costs for ingredients and equipment

There are no hidden costs.

Will I learn knife skills in this course?

Yes, there is a section on basic knife skills and safety in the course.

Can the recipes be changed to my tastes?

Yes! The recipes are adaptable. We encourage students to use our recipes as a starting point but to make them their own. You can add spices and herbs that you and your family like. You can also omit spices if you do not like them.

Will I have to complete the classes in the order they are set out?

Our courses are always FLEXIBLE and CONVENIENT!

We have laid out the recipe sections from easy through to intermediate and then advanced -

  • Introduction
  • One pot dishes
  • Healthy Breakfasts
  • Easy Meals
  • Delicious Desserts
  • Tasty Tofu
  • Vegan Cheese
  • Luscious Cakes

You should start with the introduction section which teaches you knife skills and gives you information on how to do the course. However you are welcome to do the rest of the course in any way that suits you. You could do a whole section at one time and then move onto another or you could make recipes from multiple sections. For example, in one day you could make -

  • a recipe from Healthy Breakfasts for breakfast
  • a recipe from Easy Meals for lunch
  • a recipe from One Pot Dishes for dinner
  • a recipe from Delicious Desserts for dessert

The course includes editable PDF checklists so you can keep a record of which recipes you have made.
